Sydney spring morning perfect for a ride on the Harley Davidson Rocker FXCW

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

Quick ride out on the Rocker this morning before heading to the beach for the afternoon. It was a beautiful day today, loads of Harley’s out and about.

Great sunny day for a ride on the Harley Davidson with mates

This is one of my favourite rides down through the national park south of Sydney. I’ve also take a couple of close ups of the end cap for the heavy breather and the tribal shifter linkage. The shifter linkage made a surprisingly good difference to gear changes, a lot less soft than stock.

These photos were taken in the eastern suburbs of Sydney here in Australia.

Impatient waiting for the Harley Davidson Rocker to be finished.

Got bored waiting for the bike to be back so decided to have another crack with photoshop to see what it might look like when I get it back.

The rota-plate turned up today, quite amazing given it had been sent to Austria by mistake and was still there only two days ago.

I took it into the garage this afternoon and took a couple of pictures of the bike in it’s current stripped state at Trivett.

While I’m waiting for the new fender to turn up (been waiting three weeks) so the bike can go in for the new paint, I thought I’d have an early morning ride out of Sydney to the south through the national park and on to Scarborough.

Amazing winters morning here, 22 degrees, not bad for the time of year.

I only had my iPhone with me this weekend so the pictures aren’t the best quality but you get the idea. The Rocker is booked in for all the paint work to be done over the next week. Can’t wait to see it when it’s done.

The following are being blacked out: rear swing arm, belt guard, primary cover, inner primary cover, instrument housing, oil tank, rocker covers and a couple of other bits and pieces.

Out and about.

Out and about. Out and about.

Couple of pictures while I was out and about on a ride near home here on the east coast of Australia.

Bike home for the first time.

As the bike was after I rode it home for the first time.
